I was a non-native Japanese speaker and had a slight issue communicating with other workers. Although most of the employees couldn’t speak English, there was one guy who spoke fluent English and he sort of worked as a translator for me. However, whenever he was busy, my peers seemed frustrated because they couldn’t understand what I wanted to convey completely. The company needs to provide employees with opportunities to learn English and hire more bilingual employees.
